Watson Health Imaging is looking for a positive and energetic Engineering Manager to perform activities related to development of cloud-based products and convergence of existing iConnect suite products with go forward cloud strategy.

What you’ll do:
  • Join the Watson Health Imaging team and become a core contributor to its cloud strategy
  • Provide leadership to team of product development professionals, to drive all pertinent issues related to the product development life cycle.
  • Manage, Motivate and Mentor the product development team to deliver high quality products and constantly innovate
  • Identify and communicate project scope and ensure release milestones and objectives are met with delivering a high quality product release
  • Keep stakeholders from Architecture, Product Management, Customer management informed of key issues and changes which may impact expected results.
  • Analyze problems and drive long term technology solutions to evolve the product scalability, performance, reliability and supportability
  • Ensure that projects adhere to the engineering processes and initiate process improvements as needed to improve the quality and productivity
  • Set technical direction and standards and monitor new cloud technologies

Who you are:
  • Self-starter and motivated with the ability to present new ideas and technical concepts
  • Have a solid understanding of cloud-based applications
  • Have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
  • Proven of planning a product development roadmap and executing the same
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, organizational and leadership skills are required.
  • Proven knowledge of product development lifecycle, tools, processes, best practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to meet aggressive goals and quality requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing engineering teams to deliver enterprise class software or SaaS platform
  • Proven understanding of engineering principles and practices with experience in following Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Creative approach to problem solving and providing long term solutions
  • Ability to develop longer-range project plans and schedules for individual or for a team.

This role will involve working with technology that is covered by embargo Export Regulations. If you are a Foreign National from any of the following embargoed countries (Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, and Syria) on a work permit, you are not eligible for employment in this position.
