Title: Principal Offering Lead, Watson for Patient Safety
Location: Cambridge, MA (Preferred); Anywhere in the US

We are seeking a talented, highly motivated and experienced product leader to join our fast-paced company. The primary responsibilities of the Offering Management leader for Watson for Patient Safety (WPS) will be to provide the leadership, strategic and operational expertise necessary to establish and maintain Watson’s cognitive computing, cloud and predictive analytics products focused on pharmacovigilance.

What will you do:
  • Develop, define, and own the Watson for Patient Safety SaaS product vision, roadmap, and commercial strategy for a global “market maker” offering powered by Watson Health cognitive solutions
  • Lead a cross-functional team to deliver best in class, scalable product in the domain of drug safety and pharmacovigilance; this will include leading Development, Design, User Experience and Implementations functions to deliver on the product roadmap
  • Deliver SaaS solution to support the life sciences industry in meeting regulatory compliance, surveillance, and safety standards
  • Manage offering/product rollouts across our existing client portfolio as well as new markets
  • Partner with our Go to Market teams (Sales, Marketing) to drive scale, growth, and commercial success
  • Extend current roadmap and grow the portfolio by determining and building micro-services to deepen and modularize Watson Health’s end to end pharmacovigilance offering
  • Work across Watson Health and IBM to collaborate with cross-discipline teams on development, design, marketing, communications, and sales to deliver the most innovative offerings to our clients

IBM Offering Managers are business owners, responsible for developing and maintaining the business case, directing the Go to Market oath, driving the product roadmap and leading the overall product team, and are held accountable for results. This position will report to the Global VP of Life Sciences Offering Management.

You are:
  • Passionate about transforming healthcare and life sciences
  • Expert in leading a cross functional team to deliver product, market and customer success
  • An individual with a blend of business and technical acumen, big-picture vision, commercially minded and excited about developing net new products for the market
  • Have experience in SaaS business models, product management and Saas commercial strategy
  • Comfortable directing a Lean Start Up approach and Agile Transformation
  • Market and customer obsessed
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities
  • An exceptional verbal and written communicator with a proven track record of building consensus within large organizations and disparate groups of stakeholders
  • Exceptionally organized and comfortable working with clients, engineering and design teams
