We are looking for an experienced manager responsible for leading the development and/or support of significant software projects in Business Analytics unit. Provides direction for the development and implementation of strategies, plans and product schedules as well as cost and quality objectives. Provides functional guidance to other organizations, as required. Creates an environment of openness to new ideas and approaches, identifies opportunities for innovation, and implements creative ideas that result in continuous business improvement.

Discharges the basic management responsibilities and assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.

The ideal candidate must have strong technical skills and a passion for software development with 5 years of relevant work experience. They must collaborate in a high energy environment and exhibit creative thinking. Having the ability to turn ideas into reality, communicate effectively, and work closely with others in teams around the world is essential. You'll use the latest tools and technologies available to deliver state-of-the-art software components.

Skills:
Professional mastery and knowledge related to operations, strategies and objectives in leading edge or critical situations. Demonstrates engineering expertise as would typically be obtained with an advanced degree or extensive or varied engineering assignments. A strong desire to produce high performing software with a focus on quality, speed and improving best practices.

Communication/Negotiation:
Interfaces at all management and executive levels and significantly influences/impacts their decisions. Communicates in a manner that is both timely and effective. Plans and conducts complex and controversial negotiations, reaching lasting agreements and commitments.

Problem Solving:
Solves very complex, highly visible business problems. Develops and implements innovative programs to solve problems through independent work or direction of staff efforts. No precedent typically exists. Skilled at evaluating options and generating solutions. Able to combine patience, determination, and persistence to troubleshoot client issues.

Contribution/Leadership:
Significant guidance and operational support to a major segment of the business. Is viewed as an overall expert or leader. Responsible for developing strategies, operational guidelines and long range plans to ensure success. Actively coaches and develops future technical leaders.

Impact on Business/Scope:
Develops strategic product direction, which may impact multiple sites and worldwide business strategies. Accountable for business unit, country, regional or international projects/programs. Commits resources. Significant long term financial responsibility, impacting current and future cost /expense/revenue/customer satisfaction and business measurements of critical importance. Responsible for quality output for highly visible products, services and future business development.
