Part of our growth strategy includes the transformation of the IBM Ecosystem, which includes utilizing the best of our existing Business Partners & Distributors, recruiting and growing new Partners, and activating SaaS/ISVs and Cloud Service Providers around IBM Cloud and IBM Watson.

​We are looking for a high-performance leader to drive our transformation strategy and execute with Business Partners in the North America geography. This role is based in our Austin, Texas, marketing center and will manage a team of talented marketing professionals to drive Partner strategy, planning, demand generation, and engagement in order to drive revenue attainment.

Responsibilities
  • Drive strategic planning, execution and oversight of North America Partner marketing campaigns and programs
  • Lead a team of talented and passionate marketing professionals across units (e.g., Cloud, Analytics, Security, Watson, IoT, Systems, and Services) and key verticals to engage with partners and execute marketing plans
  • Lead Partner marketing performance, ensuring return on investment effectiveness especially across our top 100 partners and driving action through IBM, VAD, and Partner teams
  • Collaborate across North America marketing teams (Diamond Teams) to embed Business Partner strategy and tactics as a fundamental motion, including working with Executives, Campaign, Digital, Content, Events, and Analytics functions
  • Work with partners and VADs to craft fresh campaigns & programs that drive demand and build heightened awareness and participation with IBM
  • Collaborate with sales executives and their teams to drive engagement and execute campaigns and programs that build pipeline and close business in the channel
  • Run budgets, analyze performance reporting, provide recommendations and action plans to cover gaps on marketing performance and return on investment
  • Work with marketing agencies to design, execute, and improve campaign execution
  • Own critical metrics and aim to funnel targets that increase Validated Lead Creation and Win Revenue targets for each campaign or program area
