As a Talent Acquisition/Recruiting Partner you are responsible for delivering recruiting success throughout the organization. The TAP plays a critical role in ensuring IBM is hiring the best possible talent. As a TAP, you are knowledgeable in management collaborating, negotiation methods, and IBM's corporate policies while maintaining personal organization, accountability, and integrity.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with GBS business leaders, executives, managers, Internal HR departments, recruitment agencies, and other team members.
  • Providing complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the company and position.
  • Lead and coordinate all recruitment process communications with candidates. Handle the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and managers.
  • Preparing candidates for interviewing with IBM and specific managers by providing detailed information on the company, our business strategy, department background, job descriptions, and expectation-setting.
  • Organizing, leading and documenting post-interview debrief/feedback and communicate with interview teams and candidates.
  • Extending offers of employment to selected candidates in accordance with the guidelines of IBM HR and our compensation policies. including but not limited to: Articulating compensation package to candidates, selection, offer, negotiation, closing, and administrative components.
  • Building and maintaining candidate pipeline of key talent potentially available for immediate hire as organizational planning and business needs instruct.
  • Collaborate with and demonstrate the efforts of Recruiting Coordinators (RCs) to support the recruiting process.
  • Develop a proven understanding of IBM's competencies in order to effectively qualify candidates.
  • Demonstrate and enforce to IBM’s dedication to the recruitment of a diverse workforce.
