You are expected to be creative, and carry out research independently while collaborating closely and effectively with other members of the Quantum Computing group. Proven experience in performing low temperature measurements and coherent manipulation of quantum systems is preferred. Experience with microwave modelling and microfabrication is beneficial. Preferred candidates will also possess ability to think outside the box to drive projects to fabricate and integrate novel devices, with demonstrated attention to detail along with proven troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

A Ph.D. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Material Science or a related field is preferred.

The World is Our Laboratory: No matter where discovery takes place, IBM researchers push the boundaries of science, technology and business to make the world work better. IBM Research is a global community of forward-thinkers working towards a common goal: progress.
