IBM Q is looking for a Q Coder Ecosystem and Qiskit Community Manager to rapidly expand the footprint of open source contributors and coders who will build the next generation of computational software for chemistry, AI, financial services, travel and logistics, and more.

The successful candidate will build a team and work virtually across the IBM Q organization to
• Organize and expand the Qiskit community of active contributors and users of world's most advanced quantum computing SDK and framework
• Develop a worldwide network of IBM Q and non-IBM coder evangelists to speak at conferences, meetups, universities, and custom events to expand the ecosystem
• Marshal the IBM Q team to produce high quality contents for the community such as blogs, videos, documentation, developer stories
• Manage the social media outreach in all its dimensions to current and potential community members
• Contribute to the IBM Q strategy regarding how we can best make Qiskit coders delighted, faithful, and voluntary recruiters for the community
• Help devise clever and appropriate business model approaches that will help coders monetize their work

Required experience and qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or a related field
• 10+ years in the technology industry
• 4+ years’ experience with developer advocacy, developer relations, or open source communities
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred experience and qualifications
• MS/MBA/PhD in a related field
• Experience in product management and/or engineering leadership
• Interest and experience with rapidly experimenting with content strategies
• Ability to work with distributed and remote teams
