We are seeking Portfolio Marketing Managers who will design our strategy and lead execution in pursuit of owning the conversation in the context of our clients' industries and professions, coupled with our market leading capabilities. In partnership with our Business Leaders, Portfolio Marketing Managers develop the end to end marketing strategy and business plan for their respective industries, professions and business units. With a strong understanding of market opportunities, customer buying behavior and competitive insights, they inform our strategy and the creation of the buyer journey and client experience with IBM. They are deep experts in the market and work across all marketing and communications disciplines to differentiate IBM and drive advocacy for our brand. This role will be responsible for the US Automotive, Electronics and Aerospace & Defense industries.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate domain expertise by industry, profession and IBM's growing suite of capabilities including business consulting and technology services, digitally delivered solutions (XaaS) as well as on-premise offerings
  • Accountable for capturing market share and delivering on revenue and signings growth targets by creating best-in-class integrated, digital-first marketing and communications campaigns
  • Responsible for bringing the strategy to life through thought leadership, branding, events, digital, client stories and ultimately, advocacy across all channels.
  • Successful candidates must have strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Direct experience in developing, managing and maintaining strong relationships with Clients and having then ability to represent the Client's point of view internally is required..
  • Collaborate with external partners and broaden and/or strengthen working relationships that drive greater marketing and communications effectiveness and efficiency
  • Apply design thinking and agile practices in daily work across multi-disciplinary teams

This role is located in the IBM office in New York City, NY.

Must have the ability to work in the US without current/future need for IBM sponsorship.
