These continually changing threats creates a significant opportunity as an i2 Technical Sales Threat Intelligence ETL Specialist with the IBM i2 Security team.

The Sales Threat Intelligence ETL Specialist will …

Job Responsibilities:
  • Extract, transform, and load data to prepare for integration with one of the most technologically advanced, all-inclusive threat intelligence platforms available on the market. - Collaborate with IBM clients during the data validation phase to ensure accuracy and drive operational efficiency for their data integration requirements.- Use an ETL tool (like DataStage or Informatica) to create jobs for loading data into the IBM i2 Threat Intelligence solution
  • Define and execute a business and solution strategy based on a demonstrated understanding of the data requirements for a threat Intelligence market
  • Support sales opportunities through business proposals/business cases to related to the ETL requirements to support Threat Intelligence product integration.
  • Define market requirements and detailed solution requirements for data source integration which you work with the engineering team.
  • Help develop positioning, value propositions benefit statements, solution and marketing messages for Threat Intelligence offerings for your market.
  • Work closely with a cross functional matrix team of marketing, sales, services, engineering, to ensure business and product strategy execution is tightly coordinated to support Threat Intelligence offerings in your market.
  • Understand other IBM solutions, such as, IBM Security, IBM Watson and IBM Information Management to leverage industry leading IBM capabilities to strengthen the i2 Threat Intelligence solutions.
  • Be the WW subject matter expert for all audiences (internal and external) around data source threat issues, threat solutions, threat industry trends, and competition.
  • Support sales opportunities by designing and validating a threat intelligence data security architecture to satisfy a client business use case.
Required Skills: (5+ years experience for all)
  • Ability to understand different data sources and concepts used by commercial/law enforcement/national security intelligence analysts.
  • Familiarity with physical (law enforcement/national security) threat disciplines, including forensic and incident response.
  • Ability to model and analyze physical threat vectors and be able to correlate data from OSINT and other domains to analyze, extract insight and draw conclusions.
  • Demonstrated product and/or business management experience of threat Intelligence software solutions.
  • Demonstrated industry knowledge of threat intelligence, Intelligence analysis in government and/or commercial sectors - - knowledge of the market including market life cycle, how the market buys and their buying criteria and sales challenges, how customers are organized and how this affects purchasing decisions.
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills with an ability to express complex business and technical concepts in simple forms of value proposition to clients.
