Job Description

Our Federal End-to-End Specialist provides services to support Federal Reps in both pre-sales and post-sales activities. These services includes proposal, order, registration and contract support for IBM hardware, IBM software, IBM maintenance, or IBM services. Tasks range from opportunity identification, bid support, contract registration, and billing. The individual will work closely with various organizations (sales, pricing, contracts and negotiations/legal, finance, and accounting) to ensure a positive customer experience by demonstrating a high level of technical and operational skills with offerings and tools.

  • request pricing (hardware, software, maintenance, etc.) approval via various pricing tools
  • create customer friendly quotes/proposals using IBM tools including Microsoft Excel where you identify the list, entitled and discounted price
  • perform research of existing customer inventory via interface of backend tables
  • respond directly to the customer through the mandated web-based tools, e-mail, and phone calls.
  • document bids and responses via web-based tool, teamroom and excel spreadsheet
  • perform firm order validation and coordinate communication of assigned workload and status
  • maintain customer satisfaction through timely and complete responses to inquiries, and pro-active problem resolutions
  • understand Client expectations through appropriate communication and actions
  • coordinate communication with sales group, sales ops, customer and management line to resolve customer issues and problems
  • assume additional responsibilities as assigned
