Part of our growth strategy includes the transformation of the IBM Ecosystem, which includes demonstrating the best of our existing Business Partners & Distributors, recruiting and growing new Partners, and activating SaaS/ISVs and Cloud Service Providers around IBM Cloud and IBM Watson.

We are looking for a high-performance communications professional to drive our storytelling and engagement with the IBM ecosystem. This role is based in NYC and will work directly for the Director of North America Business Partner Marketing.
Responsibilities

  • Elevate the importance of partners internally and externally - craft and implement the communications strategy.
  • Develop and execute partner communications strategy and plan, including for key channel initiatives, campaigns, and product/solution introductions and announcements.
  • Drive a cadence of weekly, monthly, and quarterly internal and external communications tactics for North America Partner Marketing. This includes emails, blogs, social, videos, and town halls.
  • Create online content on owned content sites (e.g., ibm.com, businesspartnervoices.com) and paid/earned content sites (e.g., LinkedIn, twitter, facebook, medium, etc.).
  • Develop creative (e.g., short vids, social tiles, infographics, etc.) that others can share and use broadly to amplify our communications.
  • Lead executive communications for North America Sales and Marketing leadership, including blog, social, and video content.
  • Advise leadership on the right forum, timing, and content to deliver critical communications and engagement goals.
  • Create Partner messaging across IBM’s technologies (e.g., Cloud, Watson, Systems, IoT, Analytics, etc.) and industries (e.g., Financial, Communications, Public, etc.).
  • Measuring and tracking relevant metrics of communication tactic impact, continuously improve using data-driven decisions to guide execution.
