IBM is expanding its cloud networking development teams. IBM's Next Generation Cloud Networking Team is looking for a remote Cloud Network Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Engineer to help implement future networking efforts through a CI/CD environment. As the Cloud Network CI/CD Engineer, you will help implement a continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) environment for our future networking development. This work is in support of IBM's Next Generation Infrastructure-as-a-Service networking products and offerings.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Some exposure to the software development process
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience with Python, Bash, or C/C++
  • A minimum of 7 years’ working with automation and CI/CD systems
  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience working with automation tools such as
  • Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
  • Experience with development tools like Jenkins, Zuul, git, or similar
  • Experience with virtualization tools like Xen, libvirt, VMWare, or similar
  • Experience with OpenStack, Cloud Foundry, or similar
  • Experience with large scale data center operations
  • Experience with TCP/IP networking
  • Experience with build systems and tools (make, ant, maven, or similar)
  • Experience in a large scale devops environment
  • Familiarity with creating and managing artifact repositories
  • Familiarity with gRPC and Protobuf

Required Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field or equivalent experience.
