The IBM CIO's Analytics Solutions team is responsible for analyzing business requirements and translating to technical specifications to support IBM’s WW Sale and Marketing executive management teams. The Business Analyst will work with the business team to gather and analyze requirements and data, apply process and system knowledge, translate business requirements to user stories and technical specifications, review with the technical implementation teams, create acceptance criteria and the definition of “done,”test the changes and sign-off.

The following duties may be included:
  • Analyze and defining and understanding multiple business processes, and translating them into IT requirements.
  • Contribute as part of an Agile team responsible for the detailed design, development, deployment and support of our Advanced Dashboard solutions in response to client business requirements, including building proof-of-concept pilots.
  • Act as subject matter expert for their area, bringing domain, functional, client, geo-, and offering expertise on behalf of stakeholder groups into their Agile team.
  • Provide operational analysis of business functions by analyzing performance metrics and business results.
  • Communicate complex business and IT concepts effectively with the entire team –from the engineers to the executive stakeholder.
  • Transition easily between technical terminology to “big picture”ideas with thoughtful analysis, understanding, and demonstrated mastery of written and verbal communication.
